Maria…our sweet and lively Maria who never ceases to amaze us with her intelligent, fresh, fun and energetic approach to work and to life! She keeps all of us, what we share, and what we do both relevant and focused on changing the world.  Maria is in a word–stunning, with a brilliant mind to match. She has such a wonderful approach to the world and has brought such a fresh and inspiring air to our team. 

Maria is the Public Relations Executive at Beaux and Arrows. Also, a  self-proclaimed foodie, she has been introducing our team (and all of you) to wonderful new food and drink, in our featured “Recipes with Ree” segments. Maria was born and raised in Lewiston, ME and currently lives in Lewiston with her love and her fur babies. Maria’s favorite place in Maine is any downtown area. “I love the busy streets with local businesses. The rowdy breweries, the aromas of the fresh food, and the cobblestone streets- I love all of it!”

Maria keeps us focused on personal and professional growth. Her outlook on life and experiencing all that you can inspires us and our projects on the daily. She has such an uplifting and energetic personality. If you spend any amount of time with her you will feel that special energy that vibrates off of her and somehow makes the world a better and brighter place.  When asked how she most wants to impact the world she responded, “My goal in life is to remind and encourage people to get outside of their comfort zone. The world is full of opportunities and growth!”

Asking Maria her favorite place outside of Maine led to an unexpected and adorable answer, “There was this little cat cafe I went to when I studied abroad in Amsterdam. Basically it’s a regular cafe with cats! I am a cat-lady who loves cafes, so this experience was a dream come true.” Someday Maria would love to visit Thailand. She wants to go and soak up everything about the dream location–the food, the culture, the nature–all of it! Speaking of food, in case it hasn't already become obvious one of Maria’s main hobbies is cooking. She is as brilliant in the kitchen as she is at everything else she touches. She also enjoys reading and writing, and traveling anywhere new, especially to visit cafes/coffee shops.

Maria considers her personal vice to be Reality TV. And we are here for it. Honestly, honestly sometimes a day spent with this crazy beautiful team of ours is a bit like a reality TV show. She also readily admits, that foodie or not “even though I am a foodie and cook homemade meals almost every day, sometimes a McDonald’s french fry hits the spot.” And what does she unwind with at the end of the day, or maybe pair with a good dose of reality TV? “Wine has my heart, specifically a red Bordeaux. However, I do love gin with a splash of tonic, citrus and rosemary.” 

Maria is simply gorgeous, but her energy and upbeat personality somehow manages to be evenly matched to her beauty. It is not often you find a soul in the world that is so beautiful both inside and out. There is one physical attribute that is hard not to notice from the second you see her, and it just so happens to also be what she loves most about herself. What do you love about yourself? 

“I love my hair. It’s the first thing people notice about me. It’s big and voluminous!”

Maria truly has a heart of gold and we feel pretty lucky to have her by our side. She completes our team in such a positive and magical way. She has such a strong and steady air about her mixed with such a fun and fresh, ready for anything vibe. And we love how she cares for herself, in a world where women far too often put themselves last. When asked what one piece of advice she would give to anyone was, she replied, “Put yourself first. Take time for yourself because burnout is real. When you focus on yourself, your relationships improve, your happiness improves, and your state of mind will thank you.”
