Fall Mini Session Tips

Here are a few styling tips for your upcoming Fall Photoshoot.

• Avoid multiple prints, characters, or clothing with words on it. Less is more, especially for generations to come. You’re investing your time and money with this photo shoot. Keep it simple. Solid colors never go out of style. Dark clothing is always very flattering. However, I’m a huge fan of denim and white. Light colors are very timeless and fresh. It’s all in what you feel comfortable in.

• Don’t over accessorize. Scarfs, a cute winter hat and your grandmothers pearl necklace are all okay. Too much jewelry can be distracting and take away from the photo.

• I like to lay my clothing out against my white bedspread or floor. If there is a specific shirt or dress I want to incorporate, I start with that first. For example. This stripe sweater my son wore in our fall family shoot was where I started. I took the navy, yellow and burgundy and started pulling clothing options that would compliment it.

• Don't stress and have fun with it. We’re always here to help. My job is to make your life easier. Whether that be FaceTiming or Skyping to show me your options, or for me to pick out some clothing options online. We want to make sure your photo shoot is everything you want, and more.
